Community Involvement
Fundraising for youth baseball and softball teams
For $100, you will receive:
- 20 tickets to the game for players and coaches
- Run on the field with the team for the National Anthem
- Play catch before the game
- Participate in the on-field games
- Receive funds for "Split the Pot" or "Baseball Bingo"
- Sell single game tickets for that specific game and keep 100% of GA ticket sales and 50% of reserved ticket sales

Host Families
We are looking for local families to assist players by opening up your homes to these players. Each season we have approximately 30 players in need of a home for the summer. Hosting players also provides a number of perks for your family including: Special Events, $250 in Sodbuster Bucks to spend at games, etc.
Donations
The Hastings Sodbusters are always looking to improve the community. Through the support of charities and the citizens the support. Based on the donation requested The Sodbusters is happy to donate tickets, apparel, and time to a worthy cause. (The Sodbusters does not make cash donations)

Appearance Request
APPEARANCE REQUEST
Want a visit from Buster, a player or one of our front office staff to make your next event a little more exciting?
Our burly mascot is perfect for pictures with kids, autographs or even help with planting if you need an experienced farmhand…
Our staff is more than willing to speak at your next luncheon or other event to get more information to the community at any time during the year. Along with staff, we want to engrain the importance of community involvement with our players and welcome requests for player appearances during the season as well.
Appearances for non-profit organizations are completely FREE. There is a $50 appearance fee charged to for-profit companies. Requests for appearances must be made at least 3 weeks prior to the date of the event and are subject to availability. Completion of this form does not guarantee an appearance.

Youth Baseball
The Hastings Sodbusters are HUGE fans of youth baseball! We will honor our area youth baseball programs during the season. If you coach or are a part of a youth baseball team, we hope you will take this opportunity to be a part of this exciting experience.
Each member of the team will receive the following as a part of this package:
- Introduction on the PA system with the Sodbusters starting lineup
- Run, stretch and throw with the players during warm-ups
- A baseball signed by each member of the team and Buster
Once the schedule is set, we will announce the available nights. Schedule should be complete before the first of the year!
The Hastings Sodbusters are ecstatic for the opportunity to partner with our great youth programs, and kids are sure to never forget this great experience!
